I believe that any bridal outfit should always be red as red is the colour of love: Ashi Singh of ‘Meet’

Zee TV's recently launched fiction show, Meet, has made a special place for itself in the audience’s hearts since its premiere. The inspirational show presents the story of Meet Hooda (Ashi Singh), who mirrors several women across the nation, fighting societal norms of gender roles regarding work and responsibilities. While Meet Hooda and her husband Meet Ahlawat’s (Shagun Pandey) love story has had its fair share of twists and turns, the upcoming episodes will be full of drama. Viewers are in for some high-voltage drama as Meet Ahlawat, and Meet Hooda try to expose Kunal and Manushi during the fashion show hosted by Babita. 

During the upcoming episodes, we will get to see how Meet Ahlawat will trick Manushi into being the showstopper of the fashion event with him. However, it will be Meet Hooda who will grab all the eyeballs in her mesmerizing red bridal outfit. This was the second time that Ashi turned into a bride on the show, however, this time it was for Babita’s fashion week. Last time we had seen her as a bride was during her wedding sequence with Meet Ahlawat where she looked absolutely amazing in a red and green lehenga that she had picked herself. This time around, with it being a fashion show, the makers and Ashi tried several lehenga options, including different colours, to see what would look good on her for this particular sequence. However, Ashi decided to wear a red lehenga only as she believes red is the symbol of love and every bridal outfit should be red.  

Talking about her experience, Ashi Singh mentions, “I personally believe that any bridal outfit should always be red as red is the colour of love. I was really happy with the outfit that I selected for this particular bridal fashion show segment. It was the perfect colour, with a really nice jacket and a dupatta over my head and looked very beautiful after I dressed up. The jewellery I was wearing was intricate and not too heavy, so I was very comfortable shooting in this outfit.” 

Well, Ashi Singh definitely looked resplendent in this bridal outfit. In the upcoming episodes, we will get to see how Manushi accuses Meet Ahlawat and Meet Hooda comes in to prove his innocence. Will Meet succeed in proving that her husband is innocent? Or will Manushi’s master plan separate them again? Only time will tell.
