I believe Anirudh aka Pravisht Mishra is a ‘star’: Ansh Gupta aka Somnath of 'Barrister Babu'

Colors’ show ‘Barrister Babu’ is gaining immense popularity and attention from the fans. The current track of the show revolves around Anirudh being arrested in Chandrachur’s murder charges. While Bondita tried to motivate Tapur and convinced her to speak the truth and give the statement in the court and reveal that Chandrachur raped her and in the fit of rage, Anirudh followed him and the tragedy happened. However, Subodh Chatterjee scared Tapur and asked her uncomfortable questions resulting in she not giving any statement.

India Forums got in touch with actor Ansh Gupta who plays the role of Somnath in the show and asked him about his bond and first impression of Pravisht Mishra (Anirudh), he said, “I completely remember my first day on shoot. My very first scene was with one and only Pravi bhai (Pravisht) and Rishi sir, so I was extremely conscious but Pravi bhai made me feel comfortable by joking around. My first impression of him was that he is a ‘star’. But, despite being so popular and a known name, he was very humble, supportive and a very fun-loving guy to work with and I really like that about him”.

Initially, Somnath had a grey shaded personality, however, now he has turned positive. We asked Ansh about his preferred shade of character between negative and positive. He said, “I did not had a hang of playing a negative character and I didn’t even know the drill of playing the same because I am a very sorted, chill and fun loving individual, but later after few days, I really started enjoying playing Somnath because he has that power of being a Roy Choudhary (Zameendar) and this was the first time I was like playing such an aggressive guy, so I loved it because I learned a lot during exploring the negative side of Somnath. As of now, he is positive.  Since playing a negative shade is challenging, I get more excited to portray such shades”.
