"I am very excited to direct my first film" - Rohit Raj Goyal

Star Plus show Diya Aur Baati Hum is enduring and a leading show which has a huge fan following because of the amazing star cast and appealing story line. But it seems that all is not well with the show, as earlier we reported that there was a blast on the sets and also there was news that the director Rohit Raj Goyal is quitting the show.

As there were reports which claimed that Rohit was being partial with the leading lady Deepika Singh because of which some issues cropped up between Anas Rashid and Rohit too. So to know the exact story we got in touch with Rohit Raj Goyal who shares the reason behind quitting the show.

Stating the reason about his exit from the show Rohit avers, "I am not directing any TV show.  My plan is to make a movie with my few friends who reside in  Delhi. I had this plan in mind since 2010 but never got a chance as I was busy doing the show Diya Aur Baati. This film is a low budget film but it is strong content wise. I feel that it the right time to take a step ahead and that's the reason behind quitting the show. I didn't leave the show suddenly, I had this plan long back but it is just that I was not able to leave the show due to some reasons. I am excited for my new venture and I am looking forward for this. It is my first film which I am directing so I am nervous as well as happy."

Talking about working with the show Diya Aur Baati Hum Rohit says, "I had a wonderful experience working with the show Diya Aur Baati Hum as it has given me a new life. I started my career with the show and I even found beautiful girl in this show. This show has given me a name and fame but you need to sacrifice if you want to achieve something great in life."
