"I am so comfortable with Rohit that we already feel married." - Aishwarya Sakhuja

The tall and lanky actress who has just got a glam make over in Main Naa Bhoolungi on Sony TV is about to break very, many hearts with her marriage to beau Rohit Nag. Aishwarya who was much loved as Toasty in Saas Bina Sasural on Sony TV is now seen as the strong willed Shikha who has just got a glam makeover in Main Naa Bhoolungi.  

When we got to know from a source that Aishwarya is getting married soon we called up the actress herself who sounded excited as she confirmed the news and said, "Yes, I am getting married on the 5^th of December in Delhi." Aishwarya has been dating director Rohit Nag for some years now and both have been open about their relationship all this time. The duo is seen going around town for outings and parties and seem to be very happy to have each other.

Elaborating more on her wedding Aishwarya says she wanted a simple wedding which is what it will be in December, "I love winter weddings and Delhi is prettiest in the winter months so we decided on the date which was suggested by the family Pundit. My family is in Delhi while Rohit's family is here in Mumbai and we are having a simple, quiet and calm ceremony and both families are all okay with the plans."

Just last month or so, Aishwarya had been reported saying that she and Rohit were not ready for marriage as yet so what changed it all so suddenly? "You know I was not ready for marriage all these days. I was actually scared thinking of living with a man and it seemed to me as the biggest challenge to stay with a man and that is the reason that despite being in a relationship for the past five years I was never open to a live-in relationship. However, now I feel that Rohit knows me so well that I am comfortable with him and we already feel married. The official marriage is just a formality now but we already feel very much married. The ring which he gave me when he proposed to me was with the blessings from his mother who had done a little pooja for it when she came to know that he was about to propose so you can understand how lucky I am!"

Aishwarya claims that she is not a romantic person as such whereas Rohit is out and out romantic and the perfect example of this is the way he proposed to her. Sounding completely joyous Aishwarya remembers the proposal and says, "Rohit proposed to me on 4^th of Jan this year and it was an out and out romantic proposal due to which I am the envy of all my girlfriends. He had arranged for one surprise after another for me so there was flowers, music, fireworks, champagne, a Presidential suite and what not when he proposed to me! He completely swept me off my feet and I said 'yes' right away since it felt so right."

The couple however were not able to spend the Valentine's Day together this year since Rohit who is a line producer for ads and films was away in Malaysia that time and that was the time when Aishwarya got a chance to show her romantic side, "By the time I remembered, all the shops in Malaysia were closed so I just called a friend who too was working with Rohit that time and told him to give him a flower on my behalf. So the poor chap went around looking for one and finally found a flower from a hospital garden and gave it to Rohit who was very happy!" And what was his return gift? "Well, he got me lots of gifts when he came back but the biggest gift was that he came back himself and we were together after two months. I am intensely simple and the thing I crave for the most is good company which I find in Rohit."

The other thing that she loves is work and says that she will continue working, "I am a workaholic and more than me it is Rohit who will see to it that I continue with my work. If I am not working I turn into a very mean and nagging person so there is no other option for me but to work," laughs Aishwarya. So all you Aishwarya fans will see as much of her on screen after marriage too.

The Valentine month sure has got good news from this couple and we wish both of them happy times ahead!
