I am scared of insects and water - Rashmi Desai

Popular actress Rashmi Desai who was last seen in Colors' Uttaran as Tapasya is all set to fight with her fear as she will be seen in Colors' stunt based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi - Darr Ka Blockbuster Returns. While she has been praised for her flawless acting skills in the show, Rashmi is all set to accept daring challenges through this show.

We got in touch with Rashmi to know more her strategies, fear and much more...

What made you to take up this show?

I am ready to go in this show. Though I am afraid but let's see how it goes in this show. I have realized now that I am ready accept challenges through this show but I am happy with what I am doing. Last year when I was offered this show, I thought kon padega insects and animals ke bich mein. This year also when they asked me I said No. I was generally discussing it with my mom and she told me that you should do it, you should challenge yourself sometimes to know that what you can do. So I thought that let's give it a try because I felt that her point of view was nice and interesting that I should at least do it and even if I won't be able to perform, I will be open to say that it was difficult for me but I tried.

What are you phobias?

I am scared of insects and water. So I don't know how will I manage but I guess they will have to manage me (laughs). Well I have seen in the previous season that there are many under water stunts, stunts which involves insects which make me scare but for this show we need a strong mind and physical strength.

Don't you think so that competing with guys is little difficult in this show as boys are physically more stronger than girls?

In Jhalak Dikhla Jaa: Dancing with the Stars I was the only girl competing with Rithvik Dhanjani and Gurmeet Choudhary though it was a dance reality show but there also you need lots of strength.

Yes I agree that in this show boys will be better as they are physically strong but in the last season Debina Bonnerjee Choudhary was a very tough contestant and gave a tough fight to the boys. So I will try my best because I have no idea what is going to happen there, so I am open for everything which will come my way.
