I am renowned as a comedian but I am very emotional in real life: Sailesh Lodha

Be it poetry, anchoring a show, being a narrator or an actor, Sailesh Lodha has left no stone unturned to charm his audience.

Currently seen in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, the talented individual narrated his journey in this industry.

Shailesh said, "I was offered Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah 14 years back when I was a successful poet. Poetry is in my blood. I have been doing this from the age of 7. Being one of the highest paid poets in the country, I never planned to do a television show."

Despite of the fact that Sailesh has enchanted the audience with his comedy timing and poetry, the actor is not content with what he is doing. He claimed that he has had enough of comedy and wants to show people diverse shades to his personality as an actor.

He averred, "Though I am renowned as a humorous poet and an actor, I am very emotional in real life. I want to see myself essaying roles which bring out the emotional side of me. I would love to essay a positive or a negative role in future. Also, I would love to take up a show which is set against the backdrop of a Rajasthani family, since I hail from that state."
