Bollywood once again landed in trouble for its favoritism which sparked yet another controversy. It all happened after Commando star Vidyut Jammwal and Kunal Khemu called out on Disney+ Hotstar for the royal snub that they did while introducing Bollywood Ki Home Delivery.

For the uninitiated, Disney+ Hotstar held an online session where they called Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Abhishek Bachchan, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan to make an announcement about their films releasing on the digital space. However they failed to invite Kunal and Vidyut despite the presence of their films in the list.

While this did not go well with the two, Kunal and Vidyut took to Twitter and expressed their disappointment over the same. The created a storm on social media with angry netizens demanding boycott on the OTT platform for allegedly promoting nepotism.

Now, in an interview with Zoom, Lootcase director - Rajesh Krishnan reacted to the ignorance of invitation experienced by Kunal and even respects Kemmu for pouring out his heart, he is no one to comment on National Award winning actors like him.

It's very hard for me to judge somebody unless I walk a mile in their shoes. And as an individual, he did what he did and I respect him for what he did. Do I have a point of view? These are things that we will probably discuss in privacy, but I'm just saying that it's his outlook. I mean look at him, he is a national award winner, who am I? I am just somebody who has done a bunch of ad films in the last 15-20 years. I am nobody to comment on Kunal Kemmu.

- Rajesh Krishnan (Director of Lootcase)

The selective preference definitely did not go well with Kunal and he politely took a dig about the same as his Tweet read, “Izzat aur pyaar maanga nahi kamaya jaata hai. Koi na de toh usse hum chhote nahi hote. Bas maidaan khelne ke liye barabar de do chhalaang hum bhi oonchi laga sakte hai.”

While Vidyut Jammwal also slammed the OTT platform for their allegedly biased behaviour and wrote, "A BIG announcement for sure!!  7 films scheduled for release but only 5 are deemed worthy of representation. 2 films, receive no invitation or intimation. It’s a long road ahead. THE CYCLE CONTINUES.”
