I am in no hurry to take up roles : Shalini Chandran

Shalini Chandran who was last seen as Surbhi in Rishto Se Badi Pratha has been missing from television screen for quite some time now. Shalini has become a prominent face in the television industry as the pretty actress has done couple of cameos, one being in Crime Patrol.

TellyBuzz decided to have a tete-a -tete with the beautiful actress.

In conversation with Shalini, we asked her what's keeping her busy and she replied, "Well nothing is keeping me busy as of now, and although I am not doing any shows I am very happy and satisfied with my life. However, I am still looking at couple of projects since I am very choosy while taking up new shows."

Talking about the diversity of roles she said, "Although I don't have a negative face, I would love to take up negative roles. I know I have a very positive face,but I think this contrast of positive face and doing a negative role will give a boost to my acting skill."

When asked her about giving a shot in a comedy genre, she said, " No chance that I will ever do comedy. I love to watch comedy but somehow I don't have the comic timing to do comedy at all."

Telling us about her belief in Lord Krishna she said, "I am a staunch believer of Lord Krishna and I pray regularly and also visit the Iskcon temple." She further adds, "I am also keen on learning Vastu Shastra as I am fond of astrology."

When asked her if she follows any TV show she said, "I don't follow any shows but yes my parents are huge lovers of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasmah."

Shalini has some good news for her fans, "I will come back soon to entertain you guys," she concludes with a wink!
