The talented actor Pushkar Goggiaa who has played a cameo in the Sony TV's show Anamika, is all set to make his debut in Rashmi Sharma's upcoming daily soap Desh Ki Beti Nandini. He plays the role of Siddharth Pandey, brother of Nandini a.k.a Keerti Nagpure.

On the same we got in touch with him to know about his journey in this industry, how he bagged this show, his feelings on being a part of this show and much more.

Here it is what he said...

When asked about his journey in this industry, Pushkar shares "I had started my journey in media, through print ad shoots. My friends and family members were very happy and supportive and they motivated to go ahead in this field. I thought of taking up acting and this is how I landed up in Mumbai. I was lucky enough that as soon as I landed in Mumbai, I gave an audition and I was selected. It just took me 15 days to get started and I am thankful to god. My first show was Anamika, it was a cameo role in it. Then Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms mythological show Dharamshetra came my way which will go on air on the upcoming channel Epic and now I am doing Rashmi Sharma's daily soap Desh Ki Beti Nandani."

He says that he is very happy to play the character of Siddharth in the show Desh Ki Beti Nandini as there are lot of shades to portray in the character, "My character Siddharth Pandey in the show Desh Ki Beti Nandani is very positive. I am happy with the fact that I am getting to play a lot of shades in this show. I am projected as happy, sad and frustrated person in the show, so here I get to explore with my acting skills."

Further he elaborates saying, "Siddharth is a boy who is very happy with his sister Nandini's progress and the way that she handles the entire house. But somewhere down the line he is also upset with the fact that he doesn't work yet. It has been long 2 years that he is in search for job, but he is been unable to acquire none. But yet he has a confidence in himself that he will get a very nice job soon with a good salary package."

He gave the audition for the lead role but he was chosen for a supportive role says Pushkar, "Basically I gave the audition for the main lead role but then was chosen for the role of Siddharth who plays younger brother to Nandini a.k.a Keerti Nagpure. But I was not sad with the news that I was chosen to play a supportive role. I am interested in acting and want to portray good work. I believe that at right time, right things do happen. This show is now my debut shpw and I am very much excited for its on air dates, hope the viewers like our show."

He says that it is fun shooting on the set of the show, "It is a very friendly environment on the sets of the show. It has been couple of days now that we have started shooting for the show and it has been great. Pawan sir who is our director is very helpful and supportive towards me and so is the entire cast and production house. Our on-screen and off-screen chemistry is the same and that is the best part which helps during the performance too."

When we asked him about his wish list of roles that he wants to play onscreen, he says "There is no favorite role that I am looking forward to, I am just looking forward for the good work to come my way."

We wish Pushkar Goggiaa all the very best for his debut show Desh Ki Beti Nandini.
