You were brought back to Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa Season 7 on popular demand.  How does it feel?

It feels great and it is the love of the audience that brought me back to the show. I am happy that people have appreciated my work and they love me for what I do. It encourages me a lot.

It's your hat trick with Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa Season 7 this season.  However, none of the co-anchors had been able to sustain the way you have.  What do you have to say about this?

I can not comment for others but I give my 100% to the show and yes I have a long association with the show and Colors. If given a chance I would love to take this association ahead in my life.

You have said in interviews, that your personality transforms once you go on stage.  Can you tell us about this?

I have always said that I become a different person once I am on stage. I would say it is by God's grace that brings confidence into me as I never prepare anything.  Everything is one the sot and perhaps this is the reason why people have liked and appreciated me.

How is your experience shooting a new genre show on National Geography channel i.e. Science of Stupid?

It was wonderful. I was very sure about the show and that audience will like it. It really worked well and I received good comments for my work as many told me that they liked the way I made the show livelier for them. It was an amazing experience and I would love to be a part of season two, when and if it happens.

Selfie Arm is becoming quite popular and you have become an unofficial ambassador for it.  Can you tell us about how you came up with the idea?

It is just that I saw it, liked it and then picked it up. In every episode of Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa Season 7 we used to take at least 40-50 pictures and then it became a trend. It was like any celebrity coming on the stage will have to take a selfie with me as they had already heard about my selfie arm.

You have tried hosting, acting, as well as singing.  Anything else you want to try your hands on in the near future?

I take up things that come my way so I cannot say anything for now but yes if anything can convince me I will do it. As of now even I am not aware about what is around the corner, waiting for me in the near future. 

We hear that everyone from Ranveer Singh to many have appreciated your style.  Have you always been very conscious about what you wear?

I like to wear nice clothes and it is not that they have to be branded but just that it should appeal to me. Since 5-6 years I am stuck to my designer who designs suits for me and yes Ranveer also likes to wear suits so he appreciates me every time we meet for my suit designs.

You are juggling between Films and TV shows, what attracts you more?

I cannot pick one from both as I am happy in this zone and would love to do both throughout my life. Today there are so many big actors from Bollywood who are trying their hands on the small screen so I would definitely be open to doing both together.

Coming to the popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati 8, you have recently hosted a special episode in Raipur, share your experience of the same?

It was dream come true for me as I hosted the entire special show with Amitabh Bachchan. I was very nervous in the beginning but he gave me enough space to prove my talent.  The show turned out to be wonderful for me. I even clicked a selfie with him. It was an amazing experience to work with him and I was amazed by the way he would do his rehearsals.
