It seems that there has been no looking back for Sanaa Khan after her stint in 'Bigg Boss Season 6'!
Having been a part of the reality show 'Khatron Ke Khiladi: Darr Ka Blockbuster Returns' and Bollywood movie, 'Jai Ho' starring Salman Khan, Sana spoke to Tellybuzz about her inclination towards doing television shows and her Bollywood career.
Spilling some beans about the reason behind backing off from the movie 'Great Grand Masti', Sanaa said, "I was signed on for the film but opted out of it because I did not think I met the character requirement. The character required me to behave like a sad soul and I am a personality, who in no way looks like an 'abla naari'. I am a bright personality and would like to project the vibrant me on-screen. My character in 'Jai Ho' was bright and nice and I guess people liked it."
Currently shooting for the sequel of 'Tom Dick and Harry', which is produced by Housefull Productions, Sana claimed that the 'situational comedy' genre has worked best for her growth in this field.
The actor stated, "I have realized that comedy as a whole works with the audience. They enjoy watching light-hearted films. I play a Parsi girl in 'Tom Dick and Harry', whose character has sanity and is naturally funny. I will start shooting for this film from Jan."
Speaking about her inclination to take up television shows, Sanaa shared, "I am open to doing reality shows on TV. I keep getting offers but for now, I want to focus on my film. TV is always going to be there and eventually I will come back to television, irrespective of the number of films I do, as this is the trend the industry observes presently."
The beautiful actress also mentioned of how she has always wanted to be a part of serious subjects but her loud personality does not allow her to be a part of one.
Sanaa averred, "I want to do serious subjects but may be because I am loud, I come across as a funny being. 'Khatron Ke Khiladi' was an adventure based show but as I tend to think aloud, whatever I said became funny."
Good luck Sanaa!
