Hiba Nawab & Krushal Ahuja's Jhanak's leap POSTPONED until IPL 2025, actors RETAINED: REPORTS

Hiba Nawab and Krushal Ahuja starrer Jhanak has been under the scanner for quite some time now. With the TRPs of the show constantly falling and being unable to revive, the makers of the show have decided to go for a generation leap, post which, the current cast of the show, including the leads Hiba, Krushal and Chandni will call it quits.

While all three of the actors have confirmed the news and have given their take on their tracks ending, there might be some relief for the ardent viewers of the show. As per a recent report in Saas Bahu aur Saazish, ABP news, the leap has now been postponed due to the upcoming IPL season. Reporting about the same, Filmibeat reveals that the makers have decided to introduce the leap at the right time and that no decision about extending the current story line is made as of now. The portal writes, ''IPL 2025 will affect the ratings of all the Hindi TV shows. It is a major risk to introduce new faces a month before IPL 2025 starts. The channel has decided to introduce the leap at the right time. Whether Jhanak's cast will be retained for the next three months or not remains to be seen. An official confirmation is yet to be made. No decision about the extension of the current storyline has been taken yet.''

Earlier confirming her exit from the show, Hiba had stated that she would not look pleasing as a 45 year old woman and hence she is calling it quits. On the other hand, Chandni Sharma, the negative lead of the show spoke to us about the leap and stated that nothing has gone wrong and that all popular shows take leaps.
