Here's why Neeti Mohan and Nihar Pandya's wedding reception got postponed

Tinsel town was all set to witness another star-studded wedding reception. We are talking about the reception of singer Neeti Mohan and actor Nihar Pandya. The couple took their marriage vows on February 15 in Hyderabad and was all set to through the reception but according to latest reports, it had to be postponed. The newlyweds took this decision as Neeti's father, Brij Mohan Sharma fell ill.

Reports suggest that Neeti's father has been admitted in a Hyderabad hospital and is currently in the ICU. He has been kept under observation. The couple informed the invitees through text messages which read as that the event had to be postponed 'indefinitely' due to 'unforeseen medical circumstances in the family'.

Brij Mohan Sharma has been ill since a few days and the current situation of illness happened on the marriage day itself. Brig's daughter Mukti revealed to media that he cannot take extreme physical pressure and thus they had to keep him in the hotel room and that's why he was missing from the mandap. Many people obviously freaked out. Later they called doctors and he suggested to move him at the hospital. Mukti further revealed that her father has been ill over a year now and that happened due to some serious exertion. Thus they always stay careful when it comes to hectic schedule.

Neeti and Nihar were supposed to host a lavish reception at Hyderabad's Four Seasons hotel. The event was supposed to be graced by many tinsel town stars and important people.
