Here's what to expect from the 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' sequel, 'Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piyaji'

And, the much awaited moment for all the Rathi Parivar fans is here. Star Plus announced another of its much-awaited projects, the sequel to their massive hit venture Diya Aur Baati Hum's sequel here in Kerala. And here we are, giving you guys a small sneak peek into what you guys can expect from the sequel.

For starters, the sequel has been titled 'Tu Sooraj Mai Saajh Piyaji'. And, the story will pick up from where they left it in season 1. Bhabho will be seen picking up pieces of her life post the death of Sooraj and Sandhya, even after 20 years of their death. Yes, in one of the many instances, this show will start with a leap itself.

But as they say, things change with time; however, this won't be the case here. All that will change in Bhabho will be her get up. Instead of those heavy sarees and maang teekas and the jewelry, Bhabho will be seen in a comparatively sober avatar. Her behavior and attitude however, will see no change at all.

Says Neelu Wagha aka Bhabhi, "The Theme of the show is positive only. Wohi kahani wohi pyaar wohi itihaas. Kahani bhii Rathi parivar ke saath hii juda hua hai. This is just a continuation from season 1's last episode, but with a fresh story and fresh concept." 

The actress will be sporting spectacles in the show. When quizzed about how she was managing them, she said, "Spectacles are not comforting. When I was narrated and given a brief about my character and get up, I was very skeptical about whether I'll be able to carry it or not. But I am sure now."

Neelu also mentioned how she was missing the old cast of the show.

But as they say, change is the only constant. And so, with a new season of Diya Aur Baati Hum in the form of 'Tu Sooraj Mai Saajh Piyaji,' we are sure in for a good watch. Isn't it?
