Hema Malini reacts to Dharmendra-Shabana Azmi's kissing scene from 'Rocky Aur Rani..'

Bollywood's iconic Dream Girl, Hema Malini, recently graced a book launch event in New Delhi, celebrating her brother's autobiography titled "Galloping Decades." Amid the literary celebration, the actress also shared her perspective on a significant scene from the much-discussed film "Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani," where her husband Dharmendra shares an intimate moment with Shabana Azmi.

The particular scene in question portrays Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi as long-lost lovers reuniting after years, culminating in a poignant kiss. Despite the buzz surrounding the scene, Hema Malini admitted that she hadn't witnessed it yet. During her interaction with a news portal, the veteran actress expressed her happiness for Dharmendra and his dedication to his craft. She emphasized that Dharmendra's genuine love for being in front of the camera reflects in his performances, making him the charismatic actor he is.

Hema Malini revealed a delightful insight into their personal lives, sharing how Dharmendra's passion for cinema permeates their home as well. According to her, the charismatic He-Man often watches his old videos and playfully asks her about his appearance, stating, "Main kaisa lag raha hoon? [How am I looking?]" This charming glimpse into their relationship illustrates the enduring love for their craft that the couple shares.

Meanwhile, Dharmendra himself shared his thoughts about the much-talked-about kissing scene during a press conference in Mumbai. When Ranveer Singh, who plays Rocky Randhawa in the film, cheekily inquired about "woh wala scene," Dharmendra playfully responded that such scenes were right up his alley, humorously saying, “Yeh toh mere daayein haath ka khel hai. [This is my right hand’s job].” 

The renowned couple made headlines recently when Hema Malini and her daughters did not attend the wedding of Karan Deol, son of Sunny Deol and Pooja Deol. While the reasons behind their absence were not elaborated upon, the family dynamics of Bollywood's legendary figures continue to intrigue and fascinate fans.
