Heavy rains in Mumbai have crippled India's financial capital and has also affected several film and television shoots.

And Star Plus show Diya Aur Baati Hum is also bearing the brunt of the heavy rains during its outdoor shoots which have otherwise brought a respite from the scorching heat.

In conversation with Rishina Kandhari, who is an integral part of the show, the actress mentions, "Rains are pleasant when shooting indoor but there are times when we have to shoot scenes which do not incorporate rainfall. So we have to wait till the time the rains stop and this leads to a lot of time wastage. Moreover, the production cost also doubles up during this season."

"But on a positive note, we have an amazing time shooting and juggling between the unexpected rainfall. The day I was shooting outdoor was hilarious because the minute our Director said 'action' it would start to rain. 'The show must go on...' is the funda of television so come what may we have to finish our shoot on the scheduled time to entertain our audience," she added.

The show indeed must go on!
