Haven’t watched ‘The Vampire Diaries’: Rrahul Sudhir on reprising Klaus’ character in ‘Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal'

Colors’ show ‘Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal’ has been in the news. Recently, the show revealed Reem Sheikh’s double role as the cruel Kavya. The show is inspired by the popular ‘The Vampire Diaries’.  It is produced by Yash and Mamta Patnaik under their banner Inspire Films. The show has an interesting star cast, including actors like Karan Kundrra, Reem Shaikh and Gashmeer Mahajani. Reem essays the roles of Elena Gilbert and Katherine Pierce, and Karan plays Daman Salvatore. In contrast, Gashmeer plays the character of Stefan Salvatore.

The current track of the show revolves around Eisha getting kidnapped. Furthermore, Eisha is still in college with Viaan, and as he rushes to get her water, a shadow appears and kidnaps her. Eisha confronts Tina, and we learn that the latter is actively working for Kavya. Kavya strikes a deal with Veer. Mehak and Viaan start looking for Eisha.

The news has been doing the rounds about Rrahul Sudhir and Krip Suri being roped in for the show. While the news went viral, the ardent viewers were curious about the characters that the new entrants would play. Now, we’ve learned that Rrahul will play the character named Sikander who’s one of the Rajvanshi and hybrid of wolf and a human. He is set to play the character of Klaus Mickelson from ‘The Vampire Diaries’. The character was played by actor Joseph Morgan who gained extreme popularity with the show.

India Forums got in touch with Rrahul and asked him how different will he portray the character played by Joseph Morgan. He said, “Honestly, I haven’t watched ‘The Vampire Diaries’. And I don’t have time in hand to watch it on such a short notice. I will play the character my way and will try to give it a fresh take. I’m yet to start shoot of the same.”

We asked him if he is aware of the trolls that the show goes through because of the similarity between ‘Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal’ and ‘The Vampire Diaries’. He said, “I’m not aware of anything of such sorts.”
