India Forums is back with an exclusive and interesting update from the world of television.
After a long list of approached actors and speculations, finally actress Anchal Sahu has been locked to play the character of grown up Bondita in Colors’ Barrister Babu (Shashi-Sumeet Productions)
Anchal was a part of Sony TV show Kyun Uthe Dil Chhod Aye bankrolled by Shashi-Sumeet Productions. She played Uday’s love interest Vashma in the show.
India Forums called Shagun to know about Uday-Vashma’s fate in KUDCA as Anchal has joined another show. Shagun said, “Honestly, after returning from Rajkot, I haven’t received a call from the producers. We have shot for bank episodes back in Rajkot. However, I wasn’t aware of Anchal bagging Barrister Babu, after this call, I’ll surely speak to Anchal (laughs)”.
He later joked saying, “Meri Heroine chali gayi” (My heroine has been taken away).
Furthermore, Shagun said, “Though I’m not aware of the changes that would follow in KUDCA with Anchal’s exit, I have full faith in the writers of the show. The show has given me a lot of scope for performance. I never felt less important or like typical daily-soap character. Uday-Vashma’s story is very well written. The producer, Shashi ma’am herself looks into the writing department so I’m sure they will pan out things in a decent manner and I trust them on that”.
Meanwhile, Anchal’s first look as Bondita has already went viral and the fans are looking forward to the post-leap story of Colors’ Barrister Babu.
