Has Sonam asked the Kapoor clan to stay tight-lipped over her wedding?

It's been long ever since the news of fashionista Sonam Kapoor tying the nuptial knot with boyfriend Anand Ahuja has hit the tinsel town. The media cannot stop speculating about the May wedding and there hasn't been any official statement from either of them.

Currently, if fresh reports are to be believed then Sonam has asked the Kapoor family to stay mum over her wedding. A report in Mid-Day states, "All the family members have been asked to keep mum about the wedding. Reportedly, Sonam only wants her father Anil Kapoor and sister Rhea Kapoor to speak about it when the time is right".

Yesterday, at the trailer launch of her film Veere Di Wedding, Sonam lost her cool when the questions about her wedding weren't stopping. At last, a clearly irritated Sonam expressed, "I promise everyone will know everything in good time. This is not the right time now as I'm here for Veere Di Wedding and this is not a platform to talk about it. I've always had a very good relationship with the media and if anything happens I'll let everyone know in good time. And thank you for keeping your patience".

Further reports reveal that Sonam has apparently even started out sending 'save the date' messages about her wedding.

While we are contemplating whether it is happening or is it not happening, there is a strong buzz that Sonam will tie the knot at aunt Kavita Singh's bungalow in Bandra amidst her family. The wedding is expected to take place on 7^th and 8^th May.

On the work front, Sonam will next be seen in a female buddy film 'Veere Di Wedding' which also stars Kareena Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar, and Shikha Talsania. The film is slated to release on 1^st June 2018.
