Harry Potter star Tom Felton joins Hansal Mehta's 'Gandhi' series

According to Deadline, Felton will portray Josiah Oldfield, Gandhi's first and closest friend during his time in London while studying law. It’s an important aspect of history that hasn’t been told on screen before, and to be working with Hansal and Pratik is an honour and pleasure."

On January 19, director Hansal Mehta and actor Pratik Gandhi took to Instagram to announce the commencement of filming for "Gandhi." The first schedule will be shot in Gujarat, offering a glimpse into Gandhi's world and promising to capture the essence of his life and times.

The series is set to be an international production, with filming scheduled across various Indian and foreign locations. Previously, Pratik Gandhi and Hansal Mehta worked together on the thriller series Scam 1992, which garnered critical acclaim from both fans and cinema enthusiasts.
