Television's latest sensation and loved actor, Namik Paul celebrates his birthday today. And as the actor has promised to tease us and the fans about his actual age by not disclosing his birth year, he totally has still liven up to it.

Namik Paul may have debuted with a role in 'Qubool Hai', but his full-fledged lead role in 'Ek Duje Ke Vaaste' made him an absolute star. His portrayal of Shravan has been loved by one and all and he keeps wowing us with his performance.

On his birthday, we list down, the 5 times Namik killed it as Shravan, the handsome lawyer.

When he showed his acting prowess in the scene he learns his father is no more.

Shravan was quite a mellow character since the show began where we did see flashes of Namik's acting talent at times. However, in the early days, we saw one of Namik's best performances as Shravan when he was shown shocked and stunned over learning that his father died in a plane crash. From shocked face with no emotions to wobbling due to weakness and finally crying his guts out on realisation, Namik aced it completely.

When Shravan got drunk learning about Suman (Nikita Dutta) and Aditya's (Ronit Kapil) union.

The scene of getting drunk and acting like devdas is done and dusted exceedingly and any actor doing it again may just bore one totally. However, there are few times, when the acting performance is so brilliant that you tend to ignore the fact that it is a cliched scene. Shravan was drunk and hurt where he portrayed his emotions with perfection. Not going over the top acting drunk or not being too mellow, Namik was absolutely amazing.

When Shravan showed his ANGRY side to Suman.

This scene is certainly one of the well-crafted and acted scenes in a long time. For a guy who if more than 6 and a half foot, built like a macho person and have a husky voice; it becomes extremely difficult to underplay the emotion of anger. In this scene, Shravan loses his cool over Suman after feeling betrayed, but while it can easily come across to be dominating and over-the-top due to the physical appearance of Namik, he underplayed and enacted the scene extremely well not going overboard.

When Shravan gets REVENGEFUL with Suman.

The show has been showcasing the several phases of Shravan-Suman's relationship from sweet, caring and teasing one to sour, cunning and vengeful too. And while Nikita has truly excelled at her job, Namik, too has been an absolute treat. In this particular scene, you have the flashes of a vengeful Shravan where he is nothing but cunning, rude and vengeful towards Suman. Another fantastic performance, another great scene.

The mega fight sequence of Shravan and Aditya.

The fans had been waiting for this desperately and a couple of weeks ago, it finally arrived. TV is not really famous' for the action sequences and many a times, the action scene look too fake and unrealistic to seem believable. However, Shravan and Aditya's fight turned out to be fantastically acted, amazingly choreographed and riveting at the same. Every punch and kick seemed believable and it literally came across that Shravan HATES Aditya to the core.

While there are several other scenes, where Namik has been at its best, we feel these scenes standout above all. Do you agree? Or have other scenes as your favourites? Leave in your comments below..

And of course, lastly, wishing Namik a very Happy Birthday and may all his wishes come true.
