Guneet Monga & Sunny Kapoor define made for each other in their wedding pictures

Wedding season has now witnessed one more Bollywood wedding, as Guneet Monga and Sunny Kapoor are now wife and husband. The filmmaker hosted a cocktail party on Sunday in Mumbai for her friends and coworkers, which was attended by stars including Karan Johar, Ekta Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee, Konkona Sen Sharma, Rhea Chakraborty, Vidya Balan, Neha Dhupia, Sonali Bendre, and Neha Dhupia.

Well now, the first visuals of Guneet Monga and Sunny Kapoor as newlyweds from their wedding ceremony are out now. 

The filmmaker took to her Instagram account and shared the picture perfect stills from the wedding ceremony. Along with it she wrote, 

"With the unconditional love and blessings of our Guruji, elders, friends and family we took our vows to start our forever, today. I had my parents with me in spirit and in small details of my wedding festivities and rituals. I know they’re watching us from above and beaming. It’s surreal to have found a family so pure and warm in Sunny and his parents who have made me feel so incredibly special and loved already. In putting together our wedding we experienced countless moments that felt so special, we felt dearly protected and celebrated. It’s like the universe came together to make our divine union happen. Thank you for all the wishes, blessings and heart warming messages. The lovebirds got married in a Sikh Anand Karaj ceremony in the presence of their close ones. In the photos, Guneet and Sunny can be seen donning ethnic outfits as they posed for the shutterbugs in front of a Gurudwara. The new bride wore a powder-blue and pink-coloured lehenga and accessories with heavy jewellery. Sunny, on the other hand, donned a cream-coloured sherwani with a powder-blue coloured turban. 

Recently, she revealed how she had been looking for her Raj after watching Shah Rukh Khan's Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. Guneet penned a heartfelt note about her dreamy love story and how she found her 'real hero' Sunny. On completing a year of their Roka ceremony, she stated that Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge ruined her. In fact, her wedding card was also inspired by the film.
