Guess who replaces Alka Kaushal in 'Santoshi Maa'?

The industry was in shock recently, when news of actress Alka Kaushal (who was until recently seen in &TV's Santoshi Maa) being imprisoned along with her mother made it to the headlines. It turned out that Alka and her mother were involved in a fraud case, where the cheques that the ladies issued had bounced, and the duo was sentenced to serve two years in jail.

This has left the makers of Santoshi Maa in a lurch with their key actress gone. And now, they have roped in actress Deepshikha Nagpal to play Kranti Maa in the show.

Deepshikha confirmed her entry in Santoshi Maa to a leading daily and was quoted that she has worked with Gracy Singh before and that she was excited to play this part and work with Gracy yet again.

Deepshikha was last seen in Sony TV's Peshwa Bajirao.
