Actors Ayub Khan & Faisal Raza Khan's cricket team ACTORLETICS XI took on the musical combination of CREATIVE MASTERS XI, comprising of music directors and singers. Both the teams had a whale of a time at the Rutumbara Ground, Juhu on Friday, 11th April as the match got very interesting as it went on.

The Actorletics XI successfully chased the target of 128 set by Creative Masters XI as they scored 130 for the loss of 8 wickets with just 7 deliveries left. The charity match titled ‘GREAT INNINGS’ presented the 25,000/- cheque to the senior citizens.

When asked Ayub Khan, the Captain of Actorletics XI about the social cause tagged to the match he said, “We had launched our team in March and within a month we have arranged this high-profile match involving the top-notch music directors and singers of Bollywood. This is our way of paying tribute to the senior citizens and make sure that they are cared for, and live a wholesome life."

With a similar opinion was Faisal Raza Khan as he said, “I think it's like cancer which needs to be cured. I have seen a lot of people who leave their mom and dad once they are independent, but I personally think that we should always be with our parents as they have done everything to make us successful”.

This scenario of working away from home is observed in stars too. Talking about spreading awareness for the same among the masses, Faizal added, “Absolutely, many of us have to leave home to become something in life and I have also tried to explain this to my friends in the industry too. I personally feel that Television stars are looked upon as part of the family by the general public. This is another way of re-enforcing personal touch and thus taking it one step further”.

Sajid-Wajid (Captain of Creative Masters XI) said, “We are extremely pleased to be part of this charity cricket match. It is an excellent opportunity for us to bond with fellow musicians and actors outside our area of work. Also, this match is being played in a very friendly spirit for such a noble cause. Cricket is a passion common with everyone in the country and it is an excellent opportunity to bind different sections of society together”.

The brainchild of Ayub Khan & Faisal, ACTORLETICS XI was formed to combine their passion for cricket and use it to promote a good cause.

Last, but not the least, we applaud the members who took part in this great cause!!

The players of ACTORLETICS XI included Ayub Khan (C), Faisal Khan, Aditya Panscholi, Naveen Saini, Anoop Soni, Mohsin Akhtar (Mr India), Muzammil Ibrahim (model and actor), Ashutosh Rana, Nasir Khan, Freddie and Karan Wahi
