Gopi Desai in Saas Bina Sasuraal

Gopi Desai, a veteran who has been contributing to Chhoti Bahu - Sawar Ke Rang Rachi for the past 4 years and was also seen in Imagine's Dharampatni has bagged yet another role with Optymistix.

The latest we hear is that Gopi Desai would soon enter Sony TV's Saas Bina Sasural as Ganga Devi.

A source reveals, "Gopi Desai  has shot for the promo which might hit screens from next Monday. Her shoot would start soon. Gopi will essay Ganga Devi who is Chedilal's mother-in-law who was left out after her daughter's death. Now, she has been called back to stay with the family."

Elaborating on the character, a source states, "Ganga Devi is very harsh and blunt by nature but has a positive approach towards life. She is loving and caring but at the same time she does not tolerate any indecency from anyone. She would try to empower the Chaturvedi (Darshan Jariwala) family by her norms and regulations."

Basically it's a cameo but if the channel loves the track then the character might continue.

When contacted, Gopi Desai confirms, "Yes, I would essay Ganga Devi in the show. As my character is hurt by the family, so I would be a little upset with them initially."
 
With this Saas Bina Sasural gets set for Ganga Devi!
