Gokuldham prays for world Cup in Taarak Mehta

World Cup is on its way and definitely we all Indians want India to win the title. And our Gokuldham society members of SAB TV's Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma is all set to help the team bring home back the cup .

Their love for Cricket was always seen through their own GPL (Gokuldham Premiere League). So even for this world cup, they have something surprising in store for the audience.

A source from the sets informs, "There will be a special episode dedicated to World Cup 2011 where they will call a Pandit and will keep a huge havan to pray for victory of the Indian team. Not only this, each adult member of Gokuldham impersonated a cricketer from the current Indian team playing World Cup to perform Havan on their behalf."

That was not all enough for them to create a galore, therefore they even sang the Bhajan which reads, 'India World Cup jeet ke aao' to complete the ritual.

A source further informs, "Daya (Disha Wakani) will wear the mask of Dhoni while Jethalal (Dilip Joshi) will wear Sachin's mask. All will be seen wearing the Indian cricketer's uniform as well."

Talking on this the producer Asit modi has to say, "We decided to do this because all the artiste are real cricket fans and genuinely wanted to do something positive about the game. What could be better than to do a havan."

Disha Wakani confirmed, "Yes, we have shot an episode where we all have done a havan to wish a good luck for our Indian cricket team as we too are part of the Indian audience and will hope our team to win."
