Glad that I got the opportunity to perform such a heroic scene: Megha Chakroborty of ‘Imlie’

Star Plus show ‘Imlie’ is getting the love of the audiences. The current track of the show revolves around Imlie and Atharva searching for Atharva’s mother. The blame is on Atharva while Imlie feels responsible for the situation. Cheeni wants to bring down Imlie but fate has different plan and everytime Imlie finds a way out of the trap laid by Cheeni.

In a recent scene, Imlie ended up at Rana’s business rival’s office to take revenge as Rudra claimed that they are responsible for the bomb blast. For the first time, the usually fragile Imlie was seen in a fearless avatar. She storms inside the office and breaks the glass in style. She pushes a few people who come to stop her. The entire sequence was very well shot and Imlie was seen in full tashan, swag and style.

India Forums got in touch with Megha and asked her about her experience of shooting for the sequence. Megha quipped, “Well, it was a lot of fun shooting for the scene. I really love such heroic scenes which are shot in high speed and has a lot of swag in it. There was a lot of activities in the scene and all of it was done in a single take”.

She added, “Usually, female leads in a daily soap doesn’t get to perform such heroic scenes and I’m glad that I got the opportunity to perform the same. It felt quite different from the regular bahu avatar of Imlie”.
