Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin: Surekha assigns the reception responsibility to Durva and Anvi

The inspector advises them to resolve their dispute at home rather than in public. Alone together, Ishaan explains to Savi that revealing the truth won't change their marital status but could tarnish the Bhosle family's reputation, especially with an upcoming reception. He suggests there's another way to handle the situation.

Surekha discusses about the reception:

Despite Durva's reluctance, Surekha assigns the responsibility of organising Ishaan and Savi's reception to Durva and Anvi. Later, Surekha informs them and Reeva that Savi has lost her scholarship, which delights Durva. Reeva expresses doubts about Savi's compliance, but Surekha remains confident. Meanwhile, Ishaan tries to offer financial assistance to Savi, but she refuses, citing her self-respect. Despite his insistence, she declines the check, prompting him to tear it up in frustration before leaving.

Following this, Surekha confides in Reeva about the imminent reception for Ishaan and Savi, scheduled within a tight two-day timeframe. She offers Reeva the option to stay at their farmhouse if she prefers not to attend the event. However, Reeva declines, opting to remain at their current location. Surekha silently harbours the hope that Reeva and Ishaan might develop a closer bond and eventually become a married couple. Savi spends the night searching for part-time jobs, and after several attempts, she receives an interview offer the next morning.
