Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin: Reeva decides to resign from the college

Tonight's Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin commences with Preeti informing the students that Reeva won't be teaching today due to illness. Durva speculates that Savi (Bhavika Sharma) is the reason for Reeva's absence, igniting a discussion among the students about Savi. Savi leaves the classroom as a result. Durva decides to confront Savi at her home.

Yashwant contacts Ishaan (Shakti Arora) to inquire if he has spoken with Savi. Ishaan confirms their conversation and agrees to keep any news from spreading before the reception. He plans to talk to Savi before she arrives home.

Ishaan ignores Reeva:

Ishaan learns from Shukla that Savi has already left for home and realizes he needs to catch up with her before she arrives. Meanwhile, Reeva knocks on Ishaan's door only to find the room locked. Seeing Savi struggling with her luggage, Ishaan offers to help, but Savi declines. Instead, he ingeniously uses a skateboard to assist her, to which Savi expresses gratitude. Reeva interrupts by calling Ishaan, but he brushes her off, claiming to be busy.

Reeva observes Savi's concern for Ishaan:

Ishaan notices Savi's auto leaving the college premises and hastily jumps in. He asserts his role as her husband outside the college gates and assists her with her luggage. When Ishaan feels itchy and unable to scratch, Savi lends a helping hand, using a cloth to alleviate his discomfort. Meanwhile, Reeva observes them from the traffic jam.

Savi, concerned about Ishaan's discomfort, wraps her Dupatta around his head to prevent sweating. Later, Ishaan informs Savi about Yashwant's desire to announce their marriage through a public reception. However, Savi is preoccupied with hunger and requests a stop for food, which Ishaan agrees to.

Reeva decides to resign:

Meanwhile, Yashwant informs Surekha about his conversation with Ishaan regarding Savi. The Bhosle family is shocked to see Durva returning home in distress. Durva accuses Savi of attacking her, concocting a story about Savi's alleged aggression towards her due to a misunderstanding about Reeva's position in the college. Yashwant inquires if Ishaan was present, and Durva confirms his arrival later. Surekha decides to discipline Savi upon her return, expressing sympathy for Reeva's cancelled class. Reeva returns home, ignoring Surekha's attempts to communicate. She then drafts a resignation letter addressed to Ishaan.

Precap: Surekha informs Savi that she will be confined to the house from the following day onward. Savi questions the fairness of the punishment, as she believes she is not at fault.
