It seems like the worst form of deja vu where lockdown has been reimposed in Maharashtra owing to the spike in coronavirus cases lately and further leading to shoots being stopped temporarily or relocated to a different location.
And for senior actors too, it's bad again where they cannot necessarily travel as much. Actor Ghanshyam Nayak aka Nattu Kaka, who recovered from a surgery last year is now waiting for his track to begin.
Talking about it with ETimes TV, Nayak said, "It has been over a month since I am at home. There is no clarity as to when my track will start as the shooting has halted for now. The makers haven't taken any decision to shift base, too. I had shot for an episode in March and after that locked myself at home. I am sure the makers will start my track soon and show how Natukaka returns to Mumbai from the village."
When asked how is he coping with the lockdown this time, he said, "It is very tough. I have been at home and my family also insists that I don't step out at all. But, I am dying to work and get back on the sets. How long will I live like this in isolation and away from my work? It is tough for senior actors because of the virus. I am hoping that the makers bring back my track after the lockdown opens up and I get to work. I do understand the safety protocols for senior actors, but my mind and body needs to get up and work."
Talking about the shoot relocation, Nayak said, "It will be the decision of makers. As of now, I am not aware if the set will relocate or not. I am hoping that I will start shooting for Taark at Film City soon."
