'Get Responsible' with Sachin Shroff!!

Sachin Shroff the Chocolate Actor with a mesmerizing smile is now on the lookout for good offers. With the Wrap-up of Sinndoor Tere Naam Ka, Sachin got a much needed break after 2 years of non-stop hard work. Now, was this break a “Blessing in Disguise” for the Actor? Well, Sachin Shroff got appreciated for being the Loving, Caring, Humble and Responsible Dhruv in Sinndoor Tere Naam Ka, but is he any different to his character, in real life? What are we waiting for, let us now find out more on this from the Star himself…

What are you doing now, Post Sinndoor?

Sachin: I am on a break. I needed this break as I was working non-stop for more than 2 years now.

Your sister got married recently, so did this break come just right in time?

Sachin: I was busy with my sister’s marriage which was held last week, so this break was indeed a blessing in disguise. I had to take care of all the arrangements; I am the Man of The Family. It is very nice to be part of family and take all the responsibility on your shoulders and carry it out. In reel life, we always pretend to play a character who struggles and toils. With this marriage experience and with the personal attention I have given my family now, I realize that carrying out responsibilities is not smooth. It needs lot of attention and hard work, I had to be running around on my toes 24 hours a day.I had to take care of all the arrangements, starting from the ceremonies, to the venue, to even the decision on Menu. But I am very happy that the marriage went off well, I am a pleased and happy brother now.

How did you and your costars react when the news of Sinndoor wrap-up was given to you? Do you think Sinndoor could have got an extension? What are your thoughts?

Sachin: Sinndoor could have surely got an extension; this is the response I got from the viewers and all my fans. Personally yes, I miss working in Sinndoor, because we all shared a good rapport. We all were like a family; we loved the show and loved what we were doing. Obviously, all of us miss the show now.

However all of us took this Wrap-Up on a very positive note as the show too ended on a positive note.

Do you meet up with your costars of Sinndoor even today?

Sachin: Yes, we have been in touch though I could not hang out much with them, as I was busy with my sister’s wedding. I miss all of them, that is there.

Any new projects in the pipeline?

Sachin: There is one, let it materialize, will tell you all in the near future…

We saw you in a recent episode in Maano Ya Na Maano? How was the experience?

Sachin: Goes by the name, aap log maano ya na maaano, the experience was great…

What sort of roles are you looking for in future?

Sachin: I am happy to do television serials, I love to be occupied, and I do not like being at home. Till last week, was caught up with work at home. Now I will start looking for offers. We need to enjoy whatever we do, only then will we be able to do justice to the character. There is always a tendency to get pissed off with the larger than life roles that we play day in and day out. I would like to do decent roles, probably as the lead man. I do understand the scenario in which the Television industry works, so I am ready to do roles according to the norm specified.
