The rainy season is always a season of nostalgia and childhood memories. Be it getting drenched in the rains, making paper boats or the hot pakoras you ate while at home!

But as we grow up, we lose that innocence and unadulterated happiness. It takes a lot of effort not to let that kid in you die.

While it was pouring in Mumbai on Saturday, Geetanjali Tikekar took to social media to say exactly that. On Facebook, she put up a picture of her with her 7-year-old son Shaurya playing in the rains and posted "As we grow up, we lose our carefree nature, trying to be mature and be all grown up. At times, all you need is some unadulterated time for yourself. Spent two hours drenching in the #MumbaiRains. Rediscovered myself! Don't let the child in you die."
