Gautam Chaturvedi's stage baby!

Gautam Chaturvedi became a popular face thanks to his character of Gaurav Bhaiyya in Star Plus' Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki. The actor has resurfaced after his hiatus to talk about his latest project - a stage play –titled Loot produced by his production house Pine Tree Picture Private Limited.

We asked the actor where he had disappeared to all these days to which he replied, "I quit Kahani… in November 2006 so that I can concentrate more on my production house. Since long I have been deeply involved in all the projects of my production house."

Tell us more about this play. "This play was produced by Amjad Khan and his elder brother Imtiaz Khan about fifteen years ago. However the play was performed in English. Now along with directorial inputs from Imtiaz Khan we have made an attempt to recreate the play in Hindi. We have tailored it to suit the Hindi audience's taste," says Gautam.

The actor is presently having a lot going on as he elaborates, "Right now I'm pitching another show of our production house to various private channels.  I too will be acting in the show."

Loot will be performed at Rangsharda Bhavan on 4th July at 7: 30 pm.
