And do you miss him as Virendra Singh too?

Last year, this time around, the talk of the town was how television will be witnessing the clash of two versions of Chandrakanta on Life OK (now Star Bharat) and Colors.

The Life OK version came on-air in March 2017 starring Gaurav Khanna and Kritika Kamra in lead role and ran for over 5 months, while Colors' version starring Vishal Aaditya Singh and Madhurima Tuli went on-air in June 2017 and continues to run currently too.

The battle may be forgotten now, but for Gaurav, the role of Virendra was certainly special and challenging too.

No one can deny the fact that both Gaurav and Kritika did full justice to their characters even though the show wasn't a roaring success.

Reminiscing the same, Gaurav had a throwback moment to playing Virendra and he mentioned how it was one of the most unusual characters he had to play so far in his career-
