'Game of Thrones' Prequel Pilot Gets Canceled

The prequel was said to focus on the "Age of Heroes" and the first-ever battle between man and White Walker, which had filmed a pilot over the summer.

Rather sad news for the Game of Thrones fans out there. After a lot of hullabaloo around the only concept of prequel that was moving forward at HBO, that has now been canceled. Over the past several months, everything has been about the Naomi Watts led-pilot of the prequel to Game of Thrones, titled BloodMoon.

However, that certainly won't be happening anymore as Jane Goldman's prequel is not moving forward at HBO. The prequel was said to focus on the "Age of Heroes" and the first-ever battle between man and White Walker, which had filmed a pilot over the summer.

In the meantime, there was another prequel which was confirmed to be moving forward but there haven't been many details about that too so far. As of now, no prequels are in full development.
