#FIRSTLOOK: Star Plus' upcoming supernatural show Divya Drishti

After Nazar and Qayamat Ki Raat, Star Plus is venturing into yet another supernatural thriller titled Divya Drishti. The story of the show will revolve around a young girl possessed by 'Devi' at periodic intervals. When the 'Devi' arrives, the girl is able to foresee events. The show boasts of talented actors like Sana Sayyad, Sangeeta Ghosh and Mansi Srivastava.

Recently, the makers revealed the first promo of the show, and it looks quite intriguing.

What is the promo about?

The promo starts with a background score of Pishachini' while Sangeeta Ghosh walks on till the edge of a high building and jumps, only to fly all over the city. As soon as she turns around we realize all this is seen by a young girl (Sana Sayyad) through her Divya Drishti.

What we liked?

Sangeeta is a total show stealer in this intriguing supernatural drama. The plotline of the show looks pretty different than other shows. We love Sangeeta's witchy look and we wonder why she's hovering all around the city. On the other hand, Sana's character seems very innocent yet interesting. The VFX department has done a great job.

What we didn't like?

As the news reports of Mansi Srivastava being roped in as the main antagonist were rife, we hoped to see a glimpse of her in the promo. There was no clue about her character and that disappointed us a bit. Also, the first look didn't reveal anything about the backdrop of the show.

Verdict:

Despite of Mansi not being a part of it, we loved the first look of the show. It looks unique, interesting and promising. We're totally looking forward to Mansi's look as well as the show.
