First elimination on X Factor India

India has witnessed the few talents who got their ticket to perform on the platform of Sony TV's X Factor India, where they are judged by singing Gurus Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Shreya Ghoshal and Sonu Nigam.

The show will see its first elimination in tonight's episode.

Talking about the elimination, our source says, "Manjeera from Shreya's team and Nirmiti Group from Sanjay Leela Bhansali's team were in the bottom two as they received less number of votes and on the basis, they were asked to give performance on which final voting was done by the three judges."

"Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Sonu Nigam voted for Nirmiti Group and Shreya  Ghoshal stood by Manjeera. According to the votes from the judges, Manjeera got only one vote from Shreya and Nirmiti Group received two votes and got saved from elimination,"

Manjeera Ganguly hailing from Kolkatta, believed to be the pitch perfect was the first evict from the show.

As per the promos, Mallika Sherawat graced the stage of X Factor India. She performed on the song Jalebi Bai, greeted the judges and spoke a few words on the Double Dhamaal.

With this Manjeera Ganguly becomes the first eliminated contestant from X Factor India…
