Sets of 'Ajooni'

India Forums reported about the wild fire that took place on the sets of Star Plus show ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’ and also that the fire reached until the sets of ‘Ajooni’ and ‘Banni Chow Home Delivery’. Since ‘Banni…’ is no more on-air, the set was locked, however, the shoot was going-on on the ‘Ajooni’ sets.

Apparently, the incident happened while shooting a blast sequence on the sets of ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’. Until now, there are no causalities reported from the sets. India Forums got in touch with Ayushi Khurrana who is the lead actress of Star Bharat show ‘Ajooni’ and asked her about the fire incident, she said, “The wind is blowing strongly today in Filmcity and probably that’s the reason the fire got spread so quickly. As per my information, few curtains caught fire and because of the breeze, it ignited other sets as well. The upper section of ‘Ajooni’ set got damaged but I’m told that 80% situation is under control. However, the sets of ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’ is damaged a lot. We’re asked to leave the sets and go home. There’re no causalities from our sets as well. I hope things get better soon”.

India Forums had also contacted Aria Sakaria's mother (Savi from ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’) to know more about the incident, she said, "We were called for the shot and Aria and I were leaving the make-up room and that's when I heard about the fire and we were asked to rush out of the sets. The fire was quite wild and the entire set of the show is damaged. It has become like a barren land. It's saddening. Thankfully, everyone is safe. The fire spread until the neighbouring sets of  'Ajooni' and 'Banni Chow Home Delivery'. I just hope everyone's safe."

We at India Forums wish that everyone from the cast to the crew are safe!
