Farida Jalal, the veteran actress of the industry is all set for her come back with COLORS' top ranked show, Balika Vadhu. Her entry as the Badi Jiji in the show will bring some twists in the tale.

"I essay the role of Badi jiji in the show who brings some positive vibes into the house," says Farida Jalal.

Elaborating more on the story line she adds, "Well I can't talk much about it, but I'm sure viewers will enjoy the coming episodes, as it's really exciting".

Not many people know that she her self is a big fan of the show. "I have always liked the show and have been an ardent follower of it. If I miss the telecast at 8, I used to watch the repeat. I have seen to it that I never miss the show", she quips.

The actress has worked with Surekha Sikri in a movie earlier. "Yes Kamini Dadasa and I have worked in a film called Mummo way back. She is a very fine actress and I am excited to work with her, and also with the entire family of Balika Vadhu".

How is it to get back to television after a long gap? "Initially it is a bit difficult as you have to make your own space in the show. Time will slowly solve it. The family in the show is very sweet and takes good care of me and sees to it that I feel comfortable," she concludes.

Farida Jalal was last seen in Star Plus' Shararat. Her entry episode will be aired on March 27th.
