A decade after its remarkable release, Farhan Akhtar's iconic biopic, "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag," continues to inspire and captivate audiences worldwide. To commemorate this momentous occasion, the makers of the film have re-released it in cinemas, this time with Indian Sign Language (ISL) for people with hearing impairment. The film's cast and crew gathered for a special screening in Mumbai to share the unforgettable journey of the legendary Olympic athlete, Milkha Singh, with those who communicate through sign language.

Farhan Akhtar, who portrayed the role of "the Flying Sikh" in the film, took to Instagram on July 28 to share heartfelt pictures from the screening. 

The re-release was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Indian Sign Language Organisation (ISL), Viacom 18, and Bharathi Mehra, who worked tirelessly to create a theatrical version of the film with sign language.

In his caption, Farhan expressed his gratitude for the dedicated work put forth by the team, stating that it was a momentous experience to witness the historic screening. He wrote, "To celebrate a decade of Milkha ji’s story on film, a screening was held in Mumbai for people with hearing loss. The Indian Sign Language Organisation (ISL), Viacom 18 and Bharathi Mehra have worked for months and created a theatrical version of Bhaag Milkha Bhaag with sign language. Their effort is beyond exemplary. It was truly an overwhelming experience to be there and be part of this historic moment. Thank you to @pvrcinemas_official for supporting this and re-releasing the film with sign language in over 30 screens across the country."
