Star Plus' ambitious project Namah is finally set to call it a wrap. The show, as we know, was one of channel's mega project and ever since the promos were launched, it looked to be a spectacle indeed. However, ever since going on-air, the show failed to capture ratings and in spite of repeated attempts to gather numbers, the situation did not improve.
Undergoing several replacements and enabling storyline changes, the show did not see any improvement in the numbers. Producer Ved Raj confirmed the same to Bombay Times, where he confirmed that the show is ending and the last date of its telecast is December 20th. He explained how Namah was supposed to be a one-hour weekend show but just before the telecast, they changed the format to make it a weekday show. He said how he felt that the early evening slot did not work for the show and even though they tried the revamp, it did not garner eyeballs. He concluded saying that he is glad that they tried their best and as it was a big-budget show, they had to think a lot before bringing in changes to the plot.
