Eye problems for Divyanka..

Divyanka Tripathi, who has been essaying the lead role in Zee's Dulhann for nearly three years now, wants a break of at least a week or so to get an eye surgery done.

Says the actress, "I have very poor vision in both my eyes. My condition is so bad that I sometimes cannot make out who is standing before me. I found it very stressful while hosting Jalwa 4 Ka 1 on 9X, when I just could not read the prompter lines kept before me".

Divyanka wears contact lens as of now, for better vision but she has a problem with that also. "I have something called Cylindrical Eye Power because of which I cannot use my lens for more than four hours at a stretch. If I continue wearing them for long, I end up getting pain in my eyes and severe headache. I have been pulling along with all these problems for years now", explains a concerned Divyanka.

The actress wants to get a break for a week, so that she can go thro' the laser surgery which will set right her vision. "I am so attached to Dulhann that I cannot even wish that the show goes off air. But I need to get this surgery done at the earliest so that no further damage happens to my eyes", quips the beautiful actress. 

She feels that the present creative team of Dulhann has done a mind-blowing job in resurrecting the already faded story line. "If only we had this team some 9-10 months ago, Dulhann would have been at the #1 slot even today", she sighs.

On her next venture, Divyanka states, "I am getting many offers from both big screen as well as small screen. I am being called for some theater projects too. But I don't want to be hasty; and will wait for the best role to come to me".

Our advice to you Divyanka, is to go slow and get your eyes treated first!!
