Colors' Shakti... Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki is running on the intrigue built-up in the recent episodes and keeping audiences hooked to the show.

Recently however, one of the actresses decided to quit the show. This came as quite a shock since its none other than Roshni Sahota, the actress who plays Surbhi, Saumya's (Rubina Dilaik) younger sister on the show.

Roshni has been a very big part of the show and we wondered what led to the sudden decision.

We spoke to the actress to find out more and here's what she said, "I just want to do something new in my life now that's why I'm leaving the show. There are no hard feelings with the makers because Shakti... Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki has given me a lot."

So did her character run its course? Roshni cleared the air, "It has been two years with Shakti and I just cannot get monotonous in life. I get bored and two years is more than enough for any show and it's the only reason."

She is also planning to focus on her film career going ahead. "Because of Shakti.. I ended up letting go of a lot of movie offers. I took the decision to do focus on a film career with South Indian and Punjabi movies." she said.

In the last episode, Surbhi leaves home and that might be the end of her track. There might be more episodes since there are 10 days left for the actress' notice period.

The actress will definitely be missed on the show. What do you think?
