That one article you should read today...

The recent ban over the hugely popular video creating and social networking app Tik Tok has sent the 128 million India users in shock and others are breathing a sigh of relief. The Madras High Court requested Google and Apple to ban the access of the app for new users over the concern of spreading pornography and extracting of information illegally from children through the app. Tik Tok became a sensation among the youth, a medium of earning money and an addiction for many.

Probably one of the most popular Indian Tik Tok star, Aashika Bhatia who has approx 8 million followers on the app during a candid chat with us spoke on the issue. She said, "The team has not informed us anything about it yet, but I would say people should not just rely on it, the wise thing would be to have a back up. For now, I have the app and I am still using it, in fact those who already have the app can still use it, only new people cannot download."

Further when asked about the concern of pornography spreading through it she said, "Tik Tok is not the only platform where all of it is happening. Some other measures should be taken to curb it."

Aashika is best remembered for her for TV shows like Parvarrish and Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi and was also seen alongside Salman Khan in the hit movie Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
