Essaying a role like Bhatiyani comes once in a lifetime: Aashka Goradia

Aashka Goradia turns a year older today! She is one of those actors, who has always been a delight to watch on-screen. Having swept accolades for her negative character as Bhatiyani on 'Bharat Ka Veer Putra - Maharana Pratap', the beautiful actress shared her sentiments attached to her character and the wrap up of the show. 

The gorgeous actress stated, "I have got more than what I could ask for through 'Maharana Pratap'. I had a beautiful role that was evil. Taking up this character was a big risk because it had a rough edge. I think I would dream of this character for lifetime. We did not expect the show to pull off three years.. but we did, and now it has gracefully come to an end."

"Projecting someone who existed 1000 years ago and enacting the emotions of a queen has been challenging. I must say that I started behaving like one in my personal life. I would not be able to answer how this show has helped me groom as an actor, but yes Meri Hindi bahut acchi ho gayi" she added.

Of what we knew, Aaskha nurtured her character by giving her inputs on Bhatiyani's look, her make-up and her attire. 

Shedding some light on the same, Aashka averred, "Such kind of roles do not come to an actor every day. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity and the network and the production house has been liberal in letting me experiment different things on my character."

When we asked the lady about her plans ahead she stated, "For now my travel show India Travelogue is on. Let's see what comes up next."
