Ekta Kaul shares that she tested Thrice to Confirm Pregnancy; says 'I Couldn't believe only'

Ekta Kaul and Sumeet Vyas who tied the knot in September 2018 recently shared it with their fans that the duo are expecting their first child. Now, in a conversation with a leading portal, Ekta reveals that she tested thrice to confirm her pregnancy.

Speaking about being pregnant in quarantine, Ekta shared it with Pinkvilla that pregnancy in quarantine is not stressful but it is a little exhausting. She said, "Frankly speaking, I feel pregnancy in quarantine is not stressful. It’s a little exhausting but the household chores are keeping me active and moving throughout the day. I feel the most challenging part is yet to come once I deliver the baby because right now, I am sure that if I follow the basic hygiene and a healthy lifestyle, my baby is safe. But once the baby comes out then controlling things would be a little difficult."

She also mentioned that Sumeet is a great help and is doing all the work that needs a lot of standing as she can't stand for long. "My feet swell if I stand straight for 20 mins. So, he makes sure I do a little and he handles the rest," she added.

Talking about her first reaction to the pregnancy, she said, "I actually couldn’t believe it only. I tested myself thrice to confirm. And then I was ecstatic."

When asked about plans of returning back to TV, Ekta mentioned that she wants to work and will come back when she feels that the time is right.
