'Ek Mahanayak -Dr. B.R. Ambedkar' fame Ripraj Chauhan enjoys a working birthday

Ripraj Chauhan is currently seen in Sobo Films's 'Ek Mahanayak-Dr. B.R. Ambedkar' turned a year older yesterday(12th April). He feels fortunate to celebrate his birthday two days before Ambedkar Jayanti (14th April).

Talking about the birthday ritual, Ripraj said, "The first thing I do is to make sure to take blessings from God. As the clock strikes midnight on my birthday, you will find me standing in front of the temple, even if it's closed. This year, I also went to visit the nearby temple to seek blessings from Bajrangbali. And when I came back home, my friends gave me a birthday surprise."

The actor, who hails from Varanasi terribly missed his mother and brother on his birthday. "Last year, I was in my hometown and celebrated my birthday with my mother and brother. After pickup, I prefer to be with them, especially on my birthday. But this year, they couldn't visit Mumbai," said the actor, who earlier did shows like Sa Se Saraswati, Gudiya Hamari Sabhi Pe Bhari etc.

The actor is currently playing the role of Ambedkar's brother Aanand. He celebrated his birthday with the cast and crew, followed by cake-cutting. "While some might prefer to take a day off on their birthday, I prefer to celebrate it while working. Thankfully this year, I had a working birthday and celebrated it with the amazing team of my show," said the actor.

He further added, "I connect with Babasaheb a lot, and India will be celebrating his birth anniversary tomorrow. I consider myself privileged that I got an opportunity to play the role of his brother in the show."
