Eid 2023: Zee TV actors Namik Paul and Bhaweeka Chaudhary talk about the festival

Ramzaan Eid 2023 is here!

The festival is hugely celebrated across the world. Eid marks the end of the holy month of Ramzaan wherein the muslims observe fast and seek forgiveness from the almighty. The holy book of Quran is said to be given as a gift to mankind during Ramzaan. Mouth-watering delicacies are made along with people wearing festive clothes. Kids get gifts and cash from elders which is called ‘eidi’.

India Forums got in touch with Namik Paul, who essays the role of Shiv in Zee TV’s Lag Ja Gale, also added, “Eid is not just a festival, it's a feeling of love, happiness, and togetherness. It is also a time to cherish the moments we spend with our loved ones while creating new memories with them that will last a lifetime. Every year, on this day, I visit a few of my friends’ houses to enjoy the festive delicacies and wish them joy, peace, and prosperity throughout the year. In fact, my friends in Mumbai are more like extended family to me, and I try to take out some time and visit them during each and every festival. This year, I might be busy with the shoot of Lag Ja Gale, but I am really looking forward to meeting them after my shoot. Here’s wishing everyone, Eid Mubarak.”

Bhaweeka Chaudhary, who essays the role of Nandini in Zee TV’s Maitree mentioned, “Eid is a really special festival for me as I have so many memories celebrating the festival with my friends. Though I don’t fast, I have been visiting my friend’s place over the years for Iftaari with them. In fact, Iftaari really makes me feel involved with the festival and celebrating it with my dear ones and having a good chat with one another while feasting on some yummy food is really fulfilling. This year as well, I am planning to celebrate this festival with my friends, but here’s wishing Eid Mubarak to everyone.”
