Drashti Dhami speaks up on why 'Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil' FAILED

Things seemed perfect, but they weren't.

Actress Drashti Dhami is all set to make her return to TV with Colors' Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka and the excitement is huge. This will be her new project after her last show, Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil went off-air last year.

But, talking about Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil, the show had everything going right for itself. Apart from the first time starry pairing of Drashti Dhami and Arjun Bijlani, it had an alluring starcast; show being shot in Vienna and Austria.

People were excited about the same and things seemed perfect.

But the show's ratings never took off and did not get better with time passing by. After giving the show a good amount of time to improve, it was finally pulled off-air in June 2017, which was just 6 months into the show.

In a vis-a-vis conversation with Drashti, we asked her as to why does she feel that Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil did not work out.

To this, Drashti answered, "I really don't know ya. I really liked the show, and I had so much fun on the sets. I made great friends and Balaji is absolutely amazing to work with. We were treated so nicely. I fail to understand that why did it not work out. But it's okay. We need to move on."

At times, things are just impossible to understand or explain.

PMHMD ratings were comparable or better than some of the shows of SP but don't know why the show was not given fair chance by makers and channels..
I liked the show and still miss Raghav a lot..however I must admit that the show lost track and substance after few months...
