Double century for Jeannie Aur Juju!

Jeanie Aur Juju, a venture of Eagle Films Pvt Ltd on SAB TV is enjoying its cloud nine moment as the show will air its 200th episode tonight. The show is a popular rom-com and has Giaa Manek and Ali Asgar in the lead roles.

The show which deals with magical powers of a fairy played by Giaa Manek not only caters to small kids but is also loved and appreciated by audience of all age groups. The show has managed to acquire good amount of TRPs and it proves that the magic depicted in the show has a deeper meaning to it.

The petite actress Giaa Manek who essays the role of Jeanie shares screen space and excellent chemistry with the fabulous actor Ali Asgar who essays the role of Juju. TellyBuzz got in touch with both of them and they shared the successful journey of 200 episodes of the show.

When asked Giaa on completing the successful journey of 200 episodes of Jeanie Aur Juju she said, "I am happy that it has crossed the 200th episode mark which for me is an achievement. I was new to the comedy genre and I had wondered how will I do justice to the show? So far I am happy that I got connected to the audience within few months. I was nervous shooting for each and every scene initially, thinking would I be accepted or not but I was thrilled when I bagged an award for the best comic actor. It came as a surprise for me as the show had just completed six months and I was accepted and awarded for my role which boosted my confidence."

Giaa is seen in many avatars in this show and finds each one of them interesting, "I have played various roles in the show - Jeannie Aur Juju, but the most challenging was when I played the character of a Sardar. Each and every day is a memorable experience as we shoot for the show. I have learnt different shades of acting and moreover I discovered that I can get into comedy as well."

Ali who is gaining accolades for his current work on Television is one busy man but he enjoys every moment of his work schedule, "I am shooting almost 13 hours a day so it's very tiring to continue with the monotonous regime but every day is a memorable one as every scene enacted is important and crucial. The entire unit is like a family to me." Ali has portrayed many different types of roles in the show and says, "I have double and even triple roles with various emotions and I found the triple role of mine quite challenging."

Ali had something to share about the future episodes, "I have to play a double role in future and hence I think the name of the show should be Jeannie and Juju the whole square," he concludes laughingly.
